Most dog training fails because owners are asked to change everything at once.
My approach focuses on small daily habits that create big behavior change.
In most cases, I only ask clients to practice 5–10 minutes a day. When those small exercises are done consistently, the results can be dramatic.
Many behavior problems can be solved with the right plan and a few minutes of daily practice. My role is to design a training strategy that fits your dog, your household, and your routine.

Our Services
INITIAL CONSULTATION
$150
During our initial consult, I will get to know you and your dog in order to understand all the challenges you’re facing. This is generally a 90-120 minute session. This includes a written evaluation with recommendations for moving forward.
THREE SESSION PACKAGE
$450
Sessions are 60-90 minutes and include a detailed write-up summarizing everything we did together and what things to work on between sessions. Please note that we recommend a minimum of three sessions to allow time for homework and to see real progress.

SIX SESSION PACKAGE

Most clients opt for the six session package, since this gives the recommended time to see holistic progress. The goal is to educate and empower you to continue the work with your dog long after the last session. This works best when the family is able to provide consistent feedback via daily homework. These 60-90 minute sessions are typically scheduled once or twice a week.

Let me walk your difficult dog. Exercise is crucial to a happy and healthy life for most dogs. Enrichment walks are a great way to tire your dog out, teach them manners, and promote calm. Each walk involves an itinerary custom designed to your dog’s wants and needs, allowing your dog to use their nose to exercise their brain as much as their body.

At Canine Translation Services (CTS), we believe in working with pets and families to nurture their relationship. We believe there are no bad dogs. Our methods are exclusively force-free and primarily use positive reinforcement to bring pet and family into harmony.
Many common behavior issues can be solved without multiple in-person sessions.
With a Custom Training Plan, you’ll receive:
• a detailed behavior assessment
• a personalized training plan for your dog
• short daily exercises (5–10 minutes)
• step-by-step instructions
• troubleshooting guidance
This option is perfect for issues like:
• leash pulling
• jumping on guests
• puppy biting
• door dashing
• basic obedience and manners
For more complex behavior issues such as aggression or severe anxiety, in-person training may still be recommended.

Meet Our Trainer
Growing up in Lake Shore raising Mastiffs, I have had a lifetime of loving dogs. While completing Karen Pryor Academy and Michael Shikashios’ Canine Aggression Course, I apprenticed with several published trainers, in addition to working at local doggie daycares, and volunteering at shelters in D.C. and Maryland. Using a positive and aversive-free approach, I approach each dog holistically. A background study in behavioral biology in addition to dog training allows me to guide the pet parent through a variety of areas including house training, puppy training, basic obedience, aggression, social skills and more!
